Account Manager 

Location: Hybrid or remote, ideally based in the North West or South West to allow easy access to customer sites.

Salary: Competitive

Overview

              

This role is for an experienced commercial Account Manager to nurture and grow key customer accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our range of specialist services. 

They will be responsible for achieving sales targets, specified objectives and KPIs for our services and solutions in focused verticals as agreed in the Sales Development Plans.

Key Responsibilities

                      

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies whilst delivering on agreed targets. 

 

Pipeline Management

  • Effective personal pipeline management with KPI metrics applied.

 

Client Engagement

  • Be a credible advisor to clients. 

 

Reporting

  • Daily use of our CRM tools: forecasting, use of notes, call logs plus attachment of Partner Business Plans for all top accounts, and planning for large opportunities.

  • Provide senior management with reports on sales performance, customer needs and market trends. 

 

Communication

  • Communicate in written and verbal form professionally, both internally and externally. 

 

Governance

  • Operate in line with the organisation’s ISO Security Policy and Procedures, and assist in audit activities where required

  • Strategic Thinking - A strategic mindset to develop successful long-term sales plans and adapt to market changes. 

 

  • Analytical Skills - The ability to analyse sales data, track trends, and use insights to inform strategy. 

  • Communication - Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with team members, customers, and other stakeholders. 

  • Product Knowledge - In-depth understanding of the company's products or services to effectively promote and sell them.
