It focused on the graphic and seismic interpretation environment; with a special emphasis on SMART technology and cloud-based solutions and how they can sustain a competitive advantage. The capability of the VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) to operate over distance, without the time lag that many workstation users experiences, also impressed the high-level professionals attending.
